About ‘Do Not Pass Go’
The Lizzie Magie fanclub are coming to a local theatre near you with this true story of the woman who invented Monopoly. We hit the road in search of justice for Lizzie and all who find the game is rigged against them.
The show features integrated British Sign Language, performed by a member of the cast and combines physical theatre, dance and comedy in the usual Jordan & Skinner irreverent style. Find out more: jordanandskinner.com
About the Community Champion role
We are recruiting Community Champions in the following areas:
- ● Aberdeen
- ● Dundee
- ● Inverness
- ● Hawick
- ● New Galloway
- ● Ullapool
We’re looking for enthusiastic people with an interest in theatre and a passion for their local community to help bridge connections to ‘Do Not Pass Go’- a new play by Jordan & Skinner.
In each touring location, we are looking to recruit one Champion to help us engage their community in the production and our programme of engagement activities, which include theatre-making workshops, street theatre performances, discussions and more.
As a Community Champion, you’ll have great knowledge of your local area and curiosity for the types of audiences that would be interested in the work and events.
You will receive a fee of £300 for the role and a small budget to support the work, working alongside the co-engagement producers.
